Stem Cell Treatments
       Stem Cell Rejuvenation

The Revolutionary World of Stem Cell Treatment

For over a decade stem cell therapy has been reasearched and utilized in European and Asian countries for many of the degenerative disorders that are resistant to common therapies. These include degenerative joint disease, diabetes, arthritis, MS, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and even aging itself. One of the safest and most ethical methods is autologous adult stem cell treatment.

Since the patient is using their own bone marrow, blood, skin or fat as the source of stem cells, there is no concern of rejection. And there are none of the ethical issues surrounding the use of embryonic stem cells.

A system is used to stimulate increased stem cell production in the patient's own fat. Next in an easy outpatient patented procedure that takes about 30-60 minutes a small amount of the patient's fat is gently removed using mild water pressure to preserve the integrity of the fat and stem cells. This extract is caught in a closed sterile environment which assures safety and integrity of the cells. The stem cells are essentially blank cells. They can then be injected back into parts of the body that need rejuvenation. They can help restore a youthful appearance to the face, increase energy and vigor, and reduce joint pain and limitations.

1. What is autologous stem cell transplant?

Unlike embryonic stem cells derived from fetus or stem cells derived from animals, autologous stem cells are derived from your own blood or adipose (fat) tissue. Dormant stem cells can be harvested from about 100 cc of a patient’s own fat. These stem cells can then be infused back into the patient. The whole procedure is done on an outpatient basis with no cutting/surgery, no scars, and very little downtime (24-48 hours at most).

2. Is there any health risk from this procedure?

In surgery, there is always a risk. However, in relation to the use of stem cells, there is no major health risk since the therapy uses your body’s own stem cells and the cells are injected. With injection there is no cutting,m no scarring and since they are your own cells there is no risk of rejection by your system.

3. For what indications can autologous stem cell transplant be most beneficial?

Autologous stem cell transplant holds great promise against a wide variety of degenerative illnesses such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, spinal cord injuries and even aging itself. All of these treatments are being studied today all over the wrold. Aside from improvement in these diseases, there are beneficial effects that can be used in other fields. Your own cells can be used to give you a younger look, increased energy, decreased joint pain, better mobility, and scar revision.

4. Are there any moral, religious, or legal  issues with regards to autologous stem cell transplant?

Fat grafting is an established standard of treatment, but is limited in it's effectiveness and longetivity. Stem cell rich fat grafts are the next logical and improved step. It is fast becoming the treatment of choice by many expert doctors for treating various diseases.

Unlike autologous fat, stem cells results can last for years and can be used in a number of varied places throughout the body. They actually stimulate rebuilding and more growth within the body.

Religious and ethical issues and concerns aren't applicable in the use of autologous stem cell use from a patient's own fat since we are using the patient’s own stem cells that are harvested from the patient's own abdominal fat.
