Surgery of Varicose Veins

Here is a typical surgical procedure for varicose veins.  This is NOT our preferred method of treating veins. As you can see the operation is very invasive and harsh.  In fact, most patients who have had surgery state that they would not have the procedure, again.

We prefer to use EVLT and Sclerotherapy for treating varicose veins.  With the same results as surgery 99% of the time, but none of the same risks of surgery (blood clots, bleeding, nerve damage, scarring, and infection EVLT and Sclerotherapy are preferred procedures. Also, with EVLT and Sclerotherapy there is no general anesthesia risk and there is NO downtime at all.
